re:homosexuality

it's lunch time at my work place now, so i'm just eating and blogging at the same time, to waste my life away happily.

this entry shall be more or less dedicated to da xiang, unless i happen to find something else to blog about at the end of it.

reply to tag: looks like you have weird fantasies about using the word "vent". personally i can't seem to find an equiv for castration. because women can still have sex(going by the punishment you suggested), just that they are physically impaired in raising children(given that they breastfeed). perhaps circumcision will be a better alternative, for some tribes in africa practise it on women(thanks veron for your knowledge;)).

oh, what the hell, what a stupid topic to talk about anyway, only serves to get me irritated.

anyway you wanted to know about buddhism's POV of homosexuality right? asked my bro, he said that there were no overt statements made regarding homosexuality by the Buddha. only statement that's probably the most relevant is that from the 5 precepts: "I undertake the precept to refrain from sexual misconduct."

it's very ambiguous, but what you can be sure is that adultery is not allowed. regarding homosexuality? no statement.
